About the role
A 12-month full-stack engineering graduate programme beginning in September 2027, offering technical development, financial markets exposure and group projects at LSEG. Graduates work with engineering teams, complete structured training and join the company permanently, with placement aligned to their skills, interests and business needs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop software in full-stack engineering roles within LSEG’s financial markets technology organisation.
- Apply programming skills using C#, JavaScript, Node.js, .NET or Python.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a dynamic agile environment and contribute to group projects aligned with LSEG goals.
- Explore different LSEG departments to understand the organisation and identify areas of interest.
- Use curiosity about data to analyse information, draw conclusions and propose solutions.
Programme Details
- Complete a 12-month development journey focused on foundational technical and professional skills.
- Attend global induction covering LSEG, financial markets and the wider business.
- Participate in an Engineering Bootcamp focused on business and engineering principles.
- Attend the Ignite midpoint skills offsite and connect with the graduate cohort.
- Access industry-recognised qualifications, including five study days during the programme.
- Join an early careers community and participate in corporate social responsibility initiatives or volunteering.
Eligibility and Skills
- Be a final-year undergraduate or Master’s student in a relevant discipline, completing course requirements before August or September 2027.
- Fresh graduates from the class of 2026 are eligible to apply.
- Have a genuine interest in technology demonstrated through studies, projects, extracurricular activities or work experience.
- Demonstrate interest in full-stack development and financial markets.
- Show focus, resilience, adaptability, strategic thinking and effective collaboration skills.
- Ideal candidates have unrestricted rights to work in Romania.
Application and Assessment
- Submit one application across LSEG’s graduate programme opportunities; only the first application will be reviewed.
- Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and may close earlier due to application volumes.
- Complete a resume submission, technical and coding assessment, immersive online assessment and video interview.
- Attend a final half-day assessment centre involving several exercises; assessment centres are held virtually.
