About the role

LSEG’s 12-month Engineering Graduate Programme develops early-career technologists for cloud engineering roles supporting global financial markets technology. Starting in September 2027, graduates receive structured training, complete group projects, gain exposure to LSEG divisions, and join permanently from day one, subject to UK work eligibility.

Role

• Explore Cloud Engineer opportunities within LSEG’s financial markets technology organisation.
• Develop interests and skills in Python and public cloud development using AWS or Azure.
• Work collaboratively in a dynamic, agile technology environment.
• Build a long-term technology career within a global financial markets infrastructure provider.

Programme Structure

• Complete a 12-month development journey focused on foundational technical and professional skills.
• Learn about LSEG, financial markets and the business through global induction.
• Attend an Engineering Bootcamp covering business and engineering principles.
• Participate in group projects aligned with LSEG goals.
• Attend the Ignite mid-programme skills offsite with your graduate cohort.
• Access industry-recognised qualifications, including five study days during the programme.

Recruitment And Timing

• Programme starts in September 2027.
• Applications close on 20 October, with rolling review and possible earlier closure.
• Submit an application and resume, followed by an untimed immersive online assessment.
• Complete a strength-based video interview before the final assessment stage.
• Attend a virtual half-day assessment centre involving several exercises.
• Submit only one graduate programme application; only the first application will be reviewed.
