About the role
LSEG’s 12-month Engineering Graduate Programme offers a technology-focused start to a career in financial markets technology. Graduates interested in Business Analysis or Product Management will develop technical, analytical and business skills through structured training, group projects, industry qualifications and support from experienced technology professionals.
Programme Details
- Starts in September 2027 and leads to permanent employment from the first day.
- Work within a designated division, matched according to your skills, interests and business needs.
- Develop foundational knowledge of LSEG, financial markets and the organisation during global induction.
- Complete group projects aligned with LSEG goals and connect with a global early-careers community.
Training and Development
- Attend an Engineering Bootcamp focused on the business and engineering principles.
- Participate in Ignite, a midpoint skills offsite held with your graduate cohort.
- Access industry-recognised qualifications, including five study days during the programme.
- Connect with different LSEG departments to explore areas aligned with your interests.
Role Focus
- Consider Business Analyst or Product Manager opportunities within LSEG’s technology organisation.
- Apply strong analytical skills and experience using SQL and Python to technology-related challenges.
- Analyse data, draw conclusions, propose solutions and connect information to think strategically.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a dynamic, fast-paced agile technology environment.
Requirements
- Be a final-year undergraduate or master’s student in a relevant discipline, completing course requirements before August or September 2027.
- Fresh graduates from the class of 2026 are eligible to apply.
- Relevant disciplines include computer science, computer engineering, engineering, information technology and related subjects.
- Demonstrate interest in technology and financial markets through studies, work experience, extracurricular activities or personal projects.
- Have the unrestricted right to work in the UK throughout the programme and permanent employment.
- Demonstrate focus, resilience, adaptability, collaboration and effective communication skills.

- Complete an untimed immersive online assessment after submitting your application.
- Attend a strength-based video interview followed by a half-day virtual assessment centre.
