About the role

Graduate rotational programme in LSEG’s Markets division, combining Capital Markets and Post Trade exposure across customer solutions, market research, business intelligence, strategic initiatives and risk. Based in London, it starts September 2027, offers a 12-month development journey, and leads to permanent employment from the first day.

Role rotations

  • Support FX customers by understanding goals, maintaining relationships, sharing information, and handling post-sale activity.
  • Conduct market research and analysis covering debt listings, valuations, shareholder, and geographic analysis.
  • Deliver business intelligence, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements across the business.
  • Monitor and analyse risks, interpret data, and support risk projects or reporting.
  • Contribute individually and collaboratively while assisting the product lifecycle and building specialist skills.

Development programme

  • Complete a 12-month development journey focused on foundational skills for future success.
  • Build foundational knowledge through global and divisional inductions covering LSEG, financial markets, and the business.
  • Participate in group projects aligned with LSEG goals and attend the mid-point Ignite skills offsite.
  • Access opportunities to earn industry-recognised qualifications, including five study days during the programme.
  • Connect with the global early careers community and participate in volunteering or corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Eligibility and requirements

  • Have completed studies in 2026, or be a final-year undergraduate or Master’s student.
  • Complete all course requirements before the programme starts in September 2027.
  • Demonstrate interest in financial markets through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
  • Show curiosity about data, analytical ability, strategic thinking, resilience, focus, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have unrestricted UK work rights for the programme and permanent employment from day one.

Recruitment process

  • Complete an untimed immersive online assessment designed to reflect working at LSEG.
  • Attend a strength-based video interview answering a series of questions.
  • Complete a virtual, half-day assessment centre involving several different exercises.
