Business Graduate Programme (FTSE Russell)

About the role

Join LSEG’s FTSE Russell Division on a 12-month graduate programme beginning September 2027. Build financial-markets and business knowledge, complete group projects and development activities, pursue industry-recognised qualifications, and rotate into an initial business placement aligned with your skills and interests. Graduates join permanently.

Programme and Development

• Join FTSE Russell, which provides indices and benchmarking solutions across asset classes and investment objectives.
• Complete global and divisional inductions covering LSEG, financial markets and the business.
• Participate in group projects aligned with LSEG goals.
• Build foundational skills through a 12-month development journey and cohort skills offsite.
• Access industry-recognised qualifications, including five study days during the programme.
• Connect with the global early careers community and contribute through CSR and volunteering opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable interest in financial markets through studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.
• Curiosity for data and ability to analyse information, draw conclusions and propose solutions.
• Ability to connect information, think strategically and adapt to changing demands.
• Focus, resilience, flexibility and strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Eligibility requires completing studies in 2026 or finishing undergraduate or Master’s requirements before summer 2027.
• Candidates should have unrestricted UK work rights for the programme and permanent employment.

Recruitment Process

• Submit one application with your resume; only the first application will be reviewed.
• Complete an untimed Immersive Online Assessment introducing LSEG’s working environment.
• Attend a strength-based video interview answering a series of questions.
• Complete a final half-day virtual assessment centre involving several exercises.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close earlier because of application volumes.
