About the role

LSEG's nine-week Engineering Summer Internship in Charlotte runs from June to August 2027, with exact dates aligned to university schedules. The programme mirrors the Engineering Associate Programme and offers real technology work across multiple functions, with potential placements in development, programming, business analysis or technology project management.

Programme scope

• Work as a real summer intern, contributing to LSEG's success in a role similar to graduate responsibilities.
• Explore D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell and I&C Engineering functions.
• Potential roles include development, programming, business analysis and technology project management.
• Team placement is based on your skills, interests and alignment with business needs.

Recruitment process

• Submit one application and resume; multiple applications result in review of the first application only.
• Complete a technical and coding assessment covering coding ability, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Complete an untimed immersive online assessment designed to provide insight into working at LSEG.
• Complete a strength-based video interview followed by a virtual half-day assessment centre.
• Assessment centres are held virtually and include several types of exercises.
