About the role

Nine-week summer internship in LSEG’s Engineering function, designed to mirror its Engineering Associate Programme. Interns may work across D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, or I&C Engineering, with opportunities spanning development, programming, business analysis, and technology project management. Based in the Greater Charlotte Area, dates run June to August 2027.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work within D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, or I&C Engineering functions.
  • Contribute to real roles involving development, programming, business analysis, or technology project management.
  • Explore potential technology career paths and support organisational success alongside graduate-level colleagues.

Eligibility

  • Be in the junior year of an undergraduate degree and studying a STEM subject.
  • Complete all course requirements in summer 2028.
  • Demonstrate interest in technology through academic studies, extracurricular activities, or work experience.
  • Show interest in financial markets and how technology supports the business.

  • Demonstrate curiosity about data and the ability to analyse information, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
  • Connect ideas, think creatively, and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show focus, resilience, collaboration, and strong communication skills.
  • Recognise that how results are achieved is as important as the results themselves.

Recruitment Process

  • Submit one application and resume; only the first application is reviewed if multiple applications are submitted.
  • Complete a technical and coding assessment evaluating coding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Complete an untimed immersive online assessment about working at LSEG.
  • Attend a strength-based video interview and virtual half-day assessment centre.
  • All assessment centres are held virtually.
