Business Graduate Programme (Data and Analytics)

About the role

LSEG’s Business Graduate Programme offers a 12-month development journey in its Data and Analytics Division in New York City. Graduates build financial markets and data expertise, complete group projects, gain industry-recognised qualifications, and join the business permanently while developing within Analytics or Data and Feeds.

Role and Team

• Join LSEG’s Data and Analytics Division, aligned to Analytics or Data and Feeds based on skills and interests.
• Support a business providing financial data, news, information, analytics, and infrastructure to global financial markets.
• Develop within a permanent role from the programme’s first day.

Programme and Training

• Complete a 12-month development journey focused on foundational skills for future success.
• Build knowledge of LSEG, financial markets, and the business through global induction.
• Participate in divisional inductions, group projects aligned with LSEG goals, and the Ignite skills offsite.
• Access industry-recognised qualifications, including five study days during the programme.
• Connect with the global early careers community and participate in volunteering and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Requirements

• Completed studies in 2026, or be a final-year undergraduate or Master’s student finishing course requirements before summer 2027.
• Demonstrate interest in financial markets through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
• Show curiosity about data and the ability to analyse information, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
• Bring a customer-centric, product-led mindset and the ability to connect information and think strategically.
• Demonstrate focus, resilience, flexibility, collaboration, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Have unrestricted US work rights for the programme and subsequent permanent employment.

Recruitment Process

• Submit an application and resume; candidates should submit only one graduate programme application.
• Complete an untimed immersive online assessment designed to demonstrate what working at LSEG involves.
• Attend a strength-based video interview answering a series of questions.
• Complete a virtual, half-day assessment centre involving several different exercises.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close earlier because of application volumes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary is $62,800–$104,600, varying by geographic location, city, state, knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Role is eligible for the Annual Incentive Plan, with target rates aligned to role level and career stage.
