Business Management and Sales Summer Internship

About the role

Nine-week summer internship with LSEG in New York City, beginning June 2027, designed to simulate its Business Graduate Programme. Interns join a trading service and may support FX customers, market research, business intelligence, strategic initiatives, operational improvements, or risk analysis while developing specialist skills as individual contributors.

Responsibilities

• Support FX customers by understanding business goals, maintaining relationships, providing information, and handling post-sale activities.
• Research global markets, including debt listings, valuations, shareholder analysis, and geographic analysis.
• Deliver business intelligence, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements across the organisation.
• Monitor and analyse risks, interpret data, and support risk projects or reporting.
• Contribute to product lifecycle activities as an individual contributor and collaborate with teams.

Programme Details

• Join a flagship trading service, such as London Stock Exchange, LSEG FX, Tradeweb, Turquoise, or LCH.
• Placement area will reflect candidates’ skills, interests, and business needs identified during recruitment.
• The programme is intended to provide experience comparable to an entry-level graduate role.

Recruitment Process

• Submit an application and resume; candidates should submit only one internship application.
• Complete an untimed immersive online assessment about working at LSEG.
• Participate in a strength-based video interview answering a series of questions.
• Attend a virtual half-day assessment centre involving several different exercises.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close before the stated deadline.

Requirements

• Be a penultimate-year undergraduate student completing all course requirements in summer 2027.
• Demonstrate an interest in financial markets through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
• Show curiosity about data and the ability to analyse information, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking, focus, resilience, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
• Collaborate effectively with others in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
• Have unrestricted US work authorisation for the duration of the programme.
