Engineering Intern Programme (Software, Data or UI Engineer)

About the role

LSEG’s Engineering Internship Programme in Bangkok provides hands-on experience across Data & Analytics, Markets, and Information & Content Engineering. Interns may work as data engineers, data analysts, DevOps engineers, software engineers, or UI engineers, with placement aligned to their skills and interests. The programme starts in June 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work in Data & Analytics, Markets, or Information & Content Engineering functions.
• Contribute to real engineering roles alongside teams, supporting the organisation’s success.
• Potential roles include data engineer, data analyst, DevOps, software engineer, or UI engineer.
• Use technology, data analysis, creative thinking, and collaboration to develop solutions.

Requirements

• Be a penultimate or final-year undergraduate studying a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics subject.
• Be due to complete your degree by May 2028.
• Demonstrate interest in technology through work experience, extracurricular activities, academic studies, or projects.
• Show interest in financial markets and how technology supports the business.
• Demonstrate focus, resilience, adaptability, collaboration, and strong communication skills.

Recruitment Process

• Submit an application and resume, followed by a technical and coding assessment.
• Complete an immersive online assessment designed to provide insight into working at LSEG.
• Attend a strength-based video interview answering a series of questions.
• Participate in a half-day assessment centre involving several exercises.
• Assessment centres are held virtually; candidates should submit only one application.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close earlier due to volume.
