Engineering Intern - Cyber Security

About the role

Join LSEG's 6-month Engineering Internship in Colombo focusing on Cyber Security. Open to penultimate or final-year STEM students graduating between 2027-2028. Gain hands-on experience in security testing, assessments, and backend software development.

Role Responsibilities

• Support security testing and assessments across applications and systems with expert guidance.
• Identify and document security findings and communicate them to relevant teams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security in design, development, and operations.
• Gain exposure to security tools, emerging threats, and industry methodologies.
• Contribute to team projects and daily activities in Cyber Security.

Candidate Requirements

• Penultimate or final-year STEM student graduating between summer 2027 and 2028.
• Curious about data analysis and problem-solving.
• Ability to focus, adapt, and show resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in backend software development.
• Right to work in Sri Lanka without restrictions for 6 months starting Nov 2026.
