2027 Summer Analyst Intern, Valuations & Opinions Group

About the role

Lincoln International seeks 2027 Summer Analyst Interns for its Valuations & Opinions Group. Interns will gain hands-on experience in valuation analysis, financial modeling, and client advisory across multiple asset classes and industries in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Portfolio Valuation, Asset-backed Finance, or Transaction Opinion & Board Advisory teams.
• Construct valuation and financial analyses using proprietary models.
• Identify comparable public companies and M&A transactions using S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
• Research economic conditions, industry trends, and investment attributes.
• Participate in due diligence meetings and client communications.
• Assist in preparing fee proposals, pitch materials, and valuation reports.

Qualifications

• Assertive, self-motivated, detail-oriented with multitasking ability in fast-paced settings.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparables).
• Excellent writing, verbal communication, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Pursuing degree in finance, accounting, or related field with relevant coursework.
• Eligible to work full-time starting Summer 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 required.

Program Details

• Internship duration: May 17, 2027 to July 23, 2027.
• Locations: Dallas, New York, or Atlanta offices (in-person).
• Hybrid work structure: in-office Monday-Thursday, optional remote Fridays.
• Salary range: $95,000 annualized (applicable for NY, CA, IL).
