CAG Internship (March 2027)

About the role

March 2027 Capital Advisory internship in Paris, supporting debt advisory transactions for private equity sponsors, corporates and management teams. Interns join lean deal teams and contribute across financing analysis, lender materials, outreach, due diligence, negotiations and closing, gaining exposure to leveraged finance, private capital markets, financial modelling and senior professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform company, industry and credit analysis for financing transactions.
• Contribute to financial models and debt analyses covering leverage, cash flow, covenants and repayment.
• Prepare financing presentations, information memoranda and other lender materials.
• Identify potential lenders and conduct comparable transaction and financing research.
• Support NDAs, release letters, transaction documentation and broader process management.
• Assist with due diligence, stakeholder interactions and transaction execution through closing.

Team And Opportunities

• Work directly with junior and senior bankers in a lean, close-knit Capital Advisory team.
• Work on several live transactions across companies, sectors, financing situations and transaction structures.
• Gain exposure to private equity firms, banks, private debt funds and alternative capital providers.
• Develop understanding of credit analysis, leveraged finance, debt structuring and company financial profiles.
• Potential opportunity to join Lincoln International as a full-time Analyst after the internship.

Requirements

• At least six months of prior internship experience in Debt Advisory, Leveraged Finance, M&A, Private Equity or Transaction Services.
• Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and effectiveness in demanding environments.
• Strong writing, verbal communication and computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal English and French communication skills.
