Campus Software Engineer (Intern)

About the role

Role and Responsibilities

• Work within the core development team on distributed trading systems.
• Design, code, test, and maintain high-performance infrastructure.
• Engage in full-cycle development, testing, and release using Agile.
• Take on production-targeted projects with continuous feedback.
• Collaborate closely with experienced software engineers and mentors.
• May include additional duties as assigned.

Skills Required

• Experience with C++ programming on Linux.
• Experience with Python programming on Linux.
• Familiarity with Linux command line and Git/version control.
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with daily deployments.
• Passion for solving complex problems using innovative solutions.

Additional Desired Skills

• Past internship or job experience in software development is a plus.
• Advanced coursework in algorithms, network programming, operating systems, compilers.
• Experience in Rust programming language.
• Experience coding in a real work environment.
• Familiarity with technologies like gRPC, Kafka, Kubernetes, SQL, and others.
