About the Team
- Core Development team builds and maintains the trading platform infrastructure.
- Team uses software and hardware engineering, data science, and research.
- Focus on delivering tools that support trading and business needs.

Internship Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines for firm-wide use.
- Work on production code with full development, testing, and release cycles.
- Apply programming and analysis skills to firm-wide data solutions.
- Receive ongoing feedback and coaching from a dedicated mentor.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python development on Linux platform.
- Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team deploying software daily.
- Passion for solving complex problems and building solutions from scratch.
- Interest in data pipelining and database management for data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications
- Past internship or job experience in data engineering is a plus.
- Advanced coursework in algorithms and data structures.
- Exposure to data analytics tools such as Pandas.
