Campus ASIC Engineer (Intern)
Join Jump Trading's ASIC team as an intern in Bristol, working on next-gen ultra-low-latency systems for global trading. Collaborate with experienced engineers on architecture, design, and production of high-performance hardware solutions.

Role and Responsibilities
- Work on complex problems in networking, high performance computing, and real-time acceleration.
- Contribute to architecture, specification, design, testing, and production of ASIC hardware.
- Collaborate with a small team of experienced engineers and PhDs from top hardware labs.
- Develop ultra-low-latency systems to power trading with machine learning and algorithms.
- Engage in hardware/software engineering to build custom trading platform components.

Required Skills and Experience
- Undergraduate or graduate concentration in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience with ASIC, FPGA, or hardware/systems design and development.
- Proficiency in RTL languages such as SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
- Previous internship experience in hardware or low-level software engineering.
- Experience with programming languages C, C++, or Python.

Additional Helpful Experience
- Knowledge of lowRISC or RISC-V architectures.
- Familiarity with CocoTB verification framework.
- Programming close to hardware with CPU, GPU, or microprocessors.
- Linux kernel and driver programming experience.
- Background in robotics, telecommunications, or high-speed networking.
