Role and Responsibilities
- Implement open-ended machine learning research projects from concept to production.
- Continuously improve model design, tools, and infrastructure.
- Apply ML expertise, engineering pragmatism, statistics, and market intuition.
- Collaborate with trading researchers to solve quantitative problems.
- Contribute to various stages of quantitative research and monetisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong publication record in top AI/ML conferences or open-source contributions.
- Expertise in modern deep learning and language modeling architectures.
- Proficient in Python and/or C++ development.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Intellectual curiosity, versatility, and pragmatic outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HPC and distributed large model training.
- GPU performance optimization skills (CUDA or ROCm).
- Experience with end-to-end model development.
- Strong opinions on ML research best practices and tooling.
