About the role
Join Jump Trading as a Campus Quantitative Researcher to develop trading strategies using advanced mathematical and programming skills. Work with trading teams in Chicago or New York, focusing on probabilistic thinking and financial markets.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contribute as quant trader, researcher, and developer within trading teams.
- Receive training in trading, financial markets, and probabilistic thinking.
- Participate in mock trading sessions and poker training to enhance risk-taking skills.
- Develop and implement profitable predictive trading models.
- Collaborate with teams to devise trading strategies across global markets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong skills in probabilistic thinking and mathematical reasoning.
- Competitive spirit with a drive to learn and improve.
- Programming experience required.
- Interest in financial markets and appetite for risk-taking.
- Reliable and predictable availability.
