Campus AI Research Engineer (Intern)

About the role

Join Jump Trading as a Campus AI Research Engineer Intern to develop advanced AI/ML systems for quantitative finance. Collaborate with researchers and engineers to optimize training pipelines and deploy low-latency models in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques to complex quantitative finance problems.
• Collaborate with researchers and quantitative analysts to build reusable AI/ML frameworks.
• Optimize training pipelines for high-performance computing resources.
• Integrate AI/ML models into production systems with latency constraints.
• Work with multiple programming languages including C, C++, Python, CUDA.
• Build scalable, observable, and high-performance AI/ML systems to improve research productivity.

Skills Required

• Creative, driven, and self-motivated problem solvers.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming languages.
• Experience with PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Expertise in GPU or accelerator programming (CUDA, Triton, SYCL, ROCm).
• Experience building AI/ML systems at scale with large datasets and low-latency requirements.
