About the role
The Dublin Software Engineer Program is a summer internship for students pursuing technology-related degrees. Interns design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software, collaborate with experienced engineers, and use modern automation and approved AI tools. Top performers may be invited to join JPMorganChase full time after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software solutions in a modern engineering environment.
- Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language using established standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, managers, and stakeholders to understand problems and deliver reliable solutions.
- Document technical solutions, communicate clearly, and share ideas and feedback across teams.
- Apply automation, modern tooling, and approved AI capabilities across the software development lifecycle.
Program and Training
- Complete an induction covering technology strategies, products, systems, and the technology community.
- Develop technical skills through ongoing training, mentorship, peer support, and access to senior leaders.
- Participate in networking events, senior speaker sessions, and peer-mentorship opportunities.
- Top performers may be invited to join a full-time role upon graduation.

- Shortlisted candidates receive an invitation to complete a required HackerRank coding challenge.
- Further successful candidates receive an invitation to a virtual Superday.
