About the role
J.P. Morgan’s Paris Sales Summer Internship offers penultimate- or final-year students practical exposure to global markets, financial solutions, and client coverage across asset classes. Interns support research, market monitoring, trade ideas, portfolio reviews, and client materials while collaborating with trading, structuring, and research teams. Strong performers may receive analyst offers.
Responsibilities
- Understand client objectives, market priorities, and risk management needs with the Sales team.
- Prepare client materials, market updates, trade ideas, product presentations, and meeting preparation.
- Monitor market developments and client activity to help identify relevant opportunities.
- Conduct research, analysis, evaluations, and portfolio reviews supporting senior colleagues.
- Collaborate with trading, structuring, research, and other internal teams to deliver client solutions.
- Contribute to projects improving client support and day-to-day Sales business activity.
Program Details
- The nine-week program runs from June to August.
- Interns gain practical experience with financial solutions across asset classes and global markets.
- The program includes hands-on experience, relevant skills training, and professional networking.
- The internship serves as a pipeline to the following year’s analyst program.
Requirements
- Graduation date must be between September 2027 and August 2028.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills are required for the country of application.
- Willingness to take responsibility and manage projects collaboratively is required.

- Strong interest in global financial markets, with investigative and quantitative skills.
- Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in collaborative environments.
- A well-rounded academic background, including extracurricular positions, is valued.
- Personal qualities, outside interests, and achievements beyond academia are also considered.
