About the role

The 2027 Global Corporate Banking Off-Cycle Internship in Madrid places interns on the Large-Cap Team, supporting bankers serving government, institutional and corporate clients. You will analyse markets and credit, assist with transactions and financing solutions, prepare internal materials, and collaborate with product, credit, legal and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Global Corporate Banking bankers with internal aspects of existing client relationships.
• Conduct industry and credit analysis, including financial statement reviews.
• Support credit approval and documentation processes.
• Prepare internal memos, senior management briefings and decision committee memoranda.
• Analyse and negotiate financing requests with credit, product, legal and compliance teams.
• Coordinate global transactions across capital markets, risk solutions and transaction banking products.
