About the role
Nine-week London Summer Internship in J.P. Morgan’s Commercial & Investment Banking Sales team, supporting corporate and institutional clients across global markets and asset classes. Interns help prepare client materials, monitor markets, develop product knowledge, and collaborate with trading, structuring, and research teams. Successful participants may receive analyst-programme offers after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Help understand client objectives, market priorities, and risk management needs.
- Prepare client materials, market updates, trade ideas, and product presentations.
- Conduct research, analysis, evaluation, and preparation for client meetings.
- Monitor market developments and client activity to identify relevant opportunities.
- Collaborate with trading, structuring, research, and other internal teams to deliver client solutions.
- Contribute to projects improving client support and day-to-day Sales team activities.
Program and Training
- Complete a nine-week program running from June to August.
- Receive technical and practical training from expert instructors and J.P. Morgan professionals.
- Gain hands-on experience, relevant skills training, and professional networking opportunities.
- Develop knowledge of products across asset classes and their use by corporate and institutional clients.
Required Qualifications
- Have proficient verbal and written communication skills for the country of application.
- Be willing to take responsibility and manage projects collaboratively with colleagues.
- Have a graduation date between June 2027 and August 2028.
- Be in the penultimate or final year of study.
Preferred Qualifications
- Show strong interest in global financial markets, with investigative and quantitative skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, and effectiveness in collaborative environments.
- Bring a well-rounded academic background, including extracurricular positions or achievements.
