About the role

This nine-week summer internship in Frankfurt places you in J.P. Morgan’s Global Markets business, supporting research, market monitoring, trade ideas, portfolio reviews, and client solutions across asset classes. The program runs from June to August, includes training and networking, and may lead to a full-time analyst offer after graduation.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support senior colleagues with research, evaluation, and preparatory work.
  • Monitor markets and develop trade ideas.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews and learn about client solutions across market conditions.
  • Help develop financial solutions that manage risk, increase returns, and solve complex problems.
  • Solve stimulating business issues and make valuable contributions from the start.
  • In the Trading track, respond to client enquiries, manage resulting risk, and assess market-moving events.

Program Experience

  • Join one of four Global Markets tracks in Frankfurt.
  • Gain hands-on experience, relevant skills training, and professional networking opportunities.
  • Learn from expert instructors and J.P. Morgan professionals about the organization and its markets.
  • Build technical and practical skills for the analyst program.
  • The internship is a pipeline to the following year’s analyst program.
  • Successful interns may receive full-time analyst offers based on personal and collaborative achievements.
