About the role
Nine-week Asset Management Risk Summer Internship in London, supporting the Investment Risk team in assessing market, interest-rate, issuer, leverage and liquidity risks. Interns work with experienced professionals, develop technical and financial knowledge, participate in training and networking, and may be considered for a full-time analyst role after the summer.
Responsibilities
- Support the Investment Risk team in identifying and assessing investment risks.
- Consider market, interest-rate, issuer, leverage and liquidity risks.
- Develop models and capabilities supporting risk management and regulatory performance.
- Contribute ideas, sharpen technical skills, and apply finance and accounting principles.
- Set and monitor goals through the performance management process.
Program and Training
- Complete a nine-week program beginning in London with introductions to the firm and Asset Management.
- Receive guidance from mentors and training from senior leaders and industry professionals.
- Participate in desk-based training, business presentations and networking opportunities.
- Learn about business strategies, products and how teams work together.
Requirements
- Expected graduation in January or July 2028.
- Currently in the penultimate year of study.
- Strong quantitative skills and a genuine passion for investing.
- Interest in financial markets, investing and macro-level economics.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization, initiative, energy, confidence, judgment and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in financial accounting, financial analysis or mathematics.
