About the role

Participate in the 2026 J.P. Morgan Investment Banking Case Competition in Australia to gain hands-on experience and insight into investment banking roles. Compete in teams, present recommendations, and win priority for internship interviews.

Role and Experience

• Participate in a team-based investment banking case competition.
• Gain first-hand experience of J.P. Morgan's culture and work environment.
• Work on a hypothetical case study simulating an analyst role.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations to a panel of judges.
• Receive feedback and compete in semi-final and final rounds.
• Top teams present to J.P. Morgan bankers with Q&A sessions.

Teams and Competition Details

• Teams of 2-4 participants compete together.
• Case study released on 1 September 2026.
• Semi-final round on 16 September 2026.
• Final round on 23 September 2026.
• Winning teams prioritized for internship final interviews.
• Internship is the 2027 Investment Banking Empowering Leaders Development Program.

Eligibility

• Full-time Bachelor’s students in pre-penultimate year.
• Graduating between May 2028 and December 2028.
• Enrolled at Australian universities.
• Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• All team members must meet eligibility criteria.
• Right to work required for internship consideration.

Application Process

• Form a team of 2-4 and apply individually via portal.
• Upload CV/resume with expected graduation date.
• Provide team name and team leader’s email in application.
• Coordinate with team to ensure accurate submissions.
• Agree to Terms & Conditions upon registration and participation.
