About the role
Full-time Analyst position in J.P. Morgan’s 2027 Commercial Real Estate Program, focused on Real Estate Banking in Chicago or Irvine. Analysts receive six weeks of orientation and training within a 2.5-year program, supporting financing transactions, credit materials, client presentations, and commercial real estate analysis.
Responsibilities
- Build financial models supporting commercial real estate financing transactions.
- Assist with preparing credit approval memoranda.
- Prepare client meeting materials covering financing alternatives, industry trends, and analysis.
- Develop knowledge of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings.
- Work directly with team members and participate in projects and training opportunities.
Business and Locations
- Real Estate Banking serves developers, investors, REOCs, REITs, and opportunity and investment funds.
- The role works alongside Real Estate Banking bankers, underwriters, and Treasury Services Payments partners.
- Hiring is currently for Real Estate Banking positions in Chicago and Irvine.
- The broader CRE group also includes Community Development Banking and Agency & Institutional Capital.
Requirements
- Expected graduation during the 2026–2027 academic year.
- Enrollment in good standing at an accredited university in the United States.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employment-based immigration sponsorship.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Employment is subject to review under Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics is preferred.
