The Industry Associate Fellowship in the Global Commodities Group offers PhD students hands-on experience applying quantitative and computational skills to real-world commodities trading challenges. This full-time, fixed-term program lasts up to one year in Houston, TX.

Role and Responsibilities
- Apply advanced quantitative, statistical, and computational techniques to business problems in Global Commodities.
- Support Systematic Trading initiatives through hands-on project work.
- Translate academic theory into practical, scalable industry solutions.
- Analyze large datasets to inform risk, trading, or analytical insights.
- Collaborate with industry professionals, engineers, and quantitative teams.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program and eligible for Associate-level participation.
- Available to work full-time in Houston, TX for the program duration.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and/or Java.
- Solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, probability, optimization, or numerical methods.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or coursework in systematic risk, systematic trading, or quantitative research in commodities.
- Experience applying quantitative or computational models to practical, non-academic problems.

- Full-time fixed-term fellowship lasting up to 1 year.
