Program Overview

  • Nine-week summer internship introducing J.P. Morgan Wealth Management and the Financial Advisor Development Program (FADP).

  • Support from program managers, mentors, and senior leaders.
  • Successful completion may lead to a full-time 21-month phone-based client service role.
  • Full-time program prepares for transition to financial advisor role.

Responsibilities

  • Learn fundamentals of client service in a financial advisory context.
  • Receive in-depth training on investment products.
  • Study for and take the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
  • Participate in group projects and job shadowing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Well-rounded academic background with interest in client service and financial advice.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant internship or leadership experience.
  • Motivated to pass the FINRA SIE exam.
  • Ability to build relationships over phone and in person.
  • Thrives in dynamic, collaborative, and independent work environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing Associate, B.A., or B.S. degree with graduation between Dec 2027 and June 2028.
  • Experience in finance or finance-related courses is a plus.
  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0.

Location and Eligibility

  • Position located in Chicago, IL.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • No employment-based immigration sponsorship or OPT/CPT support provided.
