About the role

Join JPMorgan Chase’s Tokyo Markets Research team as a 2028 Full-Time Analyst. You will develop technical research skills, monitor financial markets, create trade ideas, support senior colleagues, and contribute to analysis helping clients make informed investment and strategic decisions across global asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Support senior colleagues with research, analysis, and preparatory work.
• Monitor financial markets and develop trade ideas.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and contribute value to the team from the start.
• Learn about products and solutions helping clients manage different market conditions.

Training

• Complete four weeks of instruction in New York covering statistics, economics, credit analysis, valuation, and financial modeling.
• Gain hands-on exposure to equities, credit, foreign exchange, commodities, and emerging markets.
• Learn technical and practical skills from expert instructors and JPMorgan professionals.

Research Team

• Conduct fundamental analysis on sectors and companies, alongside actionable ideas and thematic insights.
• Support clients’ investment and strategic decisions by bringing clarity to complex situations.
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment across global financial markets.
