About the role
Join JPMorgan's 2027 China Seasonal Internship as a Research Analyst in Asset Management. Support senior analysts across equity, fixed income, AMS, or quantitative research. Gain hands-on experience, training, and networking from July to December 2027 in Shanghai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support senior analysts in sector coverage and investment insight generation.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of industries and companies.
- Forecast financial statements for valuation analysis.
- Collaborate with Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and Directors of Research.
- Assist with market and portfolio analysis and stakeholder communication.
- Engage with JPMAM's global network of analysts and portfolio managers.
Research Areas
- Equity research: analyze stocks to aid investment decisions.
- Fixed Income research: develop recommendations via market fundamentals.
- AMS Research: study investment strategies and asset allocation.
- Quantitative research: work with data sets, develop mathematical models.
- Note programming skills required for quantitative research applications.
Candidate Requirements
- Final year student graduating between Dec 2027 and July 2028.
- Strong interest in finance and asset management.
- Logical thinking, quantitative skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, proactive, with good judgment and discretion.
- Permanent right to work in Mainland China required.
Program Details
- Duration: Early July 2027 to Late December 2027.
- Minimum commitment: 3 working days per week for 6 months.
- Program includes training and orientation on JPMAM businesses.
- Opportunity for full-time offer based on performance.
- No relocation assistance for flight or accommodation provided.
