2027 Investment Banking Off Cycle Internship Programme London - Energy (March start)

About the role

Three-month Investment Banking internship in Jefferies’ London Energy team, starting March 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience supporting senior bankers on pitches and live M&A, equity and debt transactions, while conducting valuation, financial modelling, industry research and corporate analysis in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Team and Experience

• Work in Jefferies’ London Energy team, advising multinational energy companies, upstream independents and energy-transition businesses.
• Collaborate with Power, Utilities & Infrastructure, Industrials and Houston-based US Energy teams.
• Work closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals within lean deal teams.
• Gain exposure to investment banking products and leading industry expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analysis.
• Build and operate financial models.
• Prepare pitchbooks and live deal materials, including offering memorandums and prospectuses.
• Conduct industry and product research.
• Analyse detailed corporate and financial information.
• Participate in M&A, equity and debt transaction execution.
