About the role
A 10-week private credit investment summer internship in Jefferies’ London office, starting June 2027. Interns receive orientation and training before gaining exposure to private credit underwriting, origination, and business development, while contributing to projects, receiving mentorship and performance reviews, and participating in professional development events.
Role and Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to private credit underwriting, origination, and business development.
- Contribute to projects and provide input from the beginning of the internship.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
Program Experience
- Complete an orientation and training program before beginning day-to-day responsibilities.
- Receive ongoing support from colleagues serving as instructors and mentors.
- Attend social and informative events supporting professional development and networking.
- Receive formal performance reviews during the internship.
Requirements
- Be in the penultimate year of study, graduating in spring or summer 2028.
- Demonstrate a strong academic background; applicants may come from varied degree disciplines.
- Show adaptability when working independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in French, German, Dutch, or a Nordic language is advantageous.
