2027 Operations Summer Analyst Program – New York and Jersey City

About the role

The 10-week Operations Summer Analyst Program in New York and Jersey City offers hands-on experience supporting trading operations, client activity, reconciliations, onboarding, and efficiency initiatives. Interns receive orientation, mentoring, performance reviews, and exposure to Operations teams working with Sales & Trading, Finance, Risk, and Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support product-specific Sales & Trading desks and collaborate with Front Office teams.
• Help onboard accounts in a client-focused manner and partner with clients throughout trading lifecycles.
• Understand reconciliation trade-break processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Complete projects involving research, analysis, recommendations, creative thinking, and team value creation.

Operations Placement

• Interns may join Capital Markets Middle Office, Operations Projects, U.S. Securities Operations, or Static Data/New Accounts.
• Interact regularly with operational groups, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and business management teams.
• Gain familiarity with processing and reconciling firm and client trading and settlement activity.

Candidate Profile

• Candidates should be professional, adaptable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.
• The role requires strong written and verbal communication, relationship management, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Candidates must work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines, independently and collaboratively.
