About the role
The 2027 Marketing Summer Analyst Program offers a 10-week New York internship supporting Jefferies’ marketing and communications initiatives. Interns gain hands-on experience across campaigns, digital channels, content, events, public relations, analytics, and project management while receiving orientation, mentoring, and formal performance reviews.
Responsibilities
- Support brand and marketing strategy across the Marketing & Communications team.
- Help execute integrated campaigns using events, digital strategies, social media, advertising, video, and email.
- Analyze campaign and channel performance to support strategic marketing goals.
- Produce content and video materials, including social media content, articles, and storyboards.
- Support conferences, events, public relations efforts, and related meeting coordination.
- Assist with operations and project management across marketing disciplines.
Internship Experience
- Complete an orientation program before beginning day-to-day responsibilities.
- Work on projects involving research, analysis, recommendations, creative thinking, and team contributions.
- Receive support from colleagues serving as instructors and mentors throughout the internship.
- Receive formal performance reviews during the internship program.
- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines and multiple projects.
Requirements
- Pursue a four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate program.
- Expected graduation must be between December 2027 and June 2028, or December 2028 and June 2029.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and relationship management abilities.
- Manage multiple projects under pressure while working independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability, and sound judgement.
- Show interest in marketing, communications, data, or creative design.
Preferred Background
- Proficiently use social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and X.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Have design, HTML, data and analytics, storytelling, or copywriting skills.
- Experience with Canva is preferred.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of financial markets.
- A marketing, communications, data, or creative design major is preferred.
