About the role
Jefferies’ London Investment Banking Summer Internship offers penultimate-year students hands-on experience supporting senior bankers on pitches, live deals, financings, and M&A transactions. Interns perform valuation, financial modelling, company and market research, and transaction analysis in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a June 2027 start.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow, and multiples-based analyses.
- Build and use financial models for investment banking assignments.
- Prepare pitchbooks, offering memorandums, prospectuses, and other live deal materials.
- Conduct industry, product, company, and market research.
- Analyze detailed corporate and financial information.
- Participate in financings and mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Internship Experience
- Work closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals across investment banking products.
- Gain hands-on experience within lean, client-focused deal teams.
- Contribute ideas and add value while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop professional relationships with peers and senior bankers.
