2027 Equity Research Summer Internship Programme - London

About the role

Ten-week Equity Research Summer Internship in Jefferies’ London office, starting June 2027. Interns support Senior Equity Research Analysts through fundamental research, due diligence, financial modelling and report writing, while gaining training, mentorship and exposure to a global investment banking and capital markets firm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on companies across a broad range of industries.
• Collect and analyse company, supplier, vendor and customer data.
• Support due diligence and financial modelling activities.
• Contribute to writing equity research reports and developing recommendations.
• Manage multiple projects while working independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.

Programme Experience

• Complete an orientation and training programme before beginning day-to-day responsibilities.
• Receive ongoing support from colleagues serving as instructors and mentors.
• Attend social and educational events supporting professional development and networking.
• Receive formal performance reviews during the internship.
• Work with a Senior Equity Research Analyst in Jefferies’ London office.

Requirements

• Be in the penultimate year of study, with expected graduation in Spring or Summer 2028.
• Demonstrate a strong academic background and strong technical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Show professionalism, client management skills, adaptability and the ability to work under pressure.
• Manage multiple projects effectively and contribute with a collaborative spirit and high integrity.
