About the role

Join Jefferies’ London Finance Controllers Analyst Programme in August 2027. This two-year rotational programme includes four six-month rotations across Controllers, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, controls and regulatory processes. Analysts receive induction, ongoing mentorship and sponsorship for either CIMA’s Certificate in Business Accounting or the ACCA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Record, analyse and reconcile financial data, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, reports and projections for internal and external stakeholders.
• Research business-performance factors, identify financial trends and provide recommendations.
• Analyse market changes and conduct comparable analyses.
• Support independent price verification, new products and system implementations.
• Manage balance-sheet and legal-entity analysis, monitor controls, and follow policies and regulations.

Programme and Development

• Complete four six-month rotations across all aspects of the Controllers function.
• Gain exposure to the wider firm through a flexible, well-rounded rotational programme.
• Receive induction and training, with colleagues providing instruction, mentoring and regular feedback.
• Receive sponsorship for either CIMA’s Certificate in Business Accounting or the ACCA qualification.

Working Environment

• Work in Jefferies’ London office within a collaborative, fast-paced and entrepreneurial investment-bank environment.
• Contribute to projects from the beginning while developing relationships with peers and senior professionals.
