About the role
Jefferies Finance LLC’s 2027 Data Analytics Summer Analyst internship in New York supports data quality monitoring, remediation, governance, business analysis, analytics, and report automation. Interns work with the data team and gain exposure to reporting responsibilities, close processes, cloud-based data warehousing, Power BI, and analyses supporting senior staff.
Responsibilities
- Identify, validate, implement, and monitor data quality rules for key business data.
- Help resolve data quality issues, including identifying their root causes.
- Support data governance, business analysis, and internal data remediation efforts.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and related reporting.
- Extract, transform, and load data into the cloud-based data warehouse.
- Support Power BI report automation and prepare analyses for senior staff and strategic initiatives.

- Demonstrate professionalism, client management skills, and strong technical, written, and verbal communication.
- Work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
