About the role

Ten-week Investment Banking Summer Analyst internship in Jefferies’ New York Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging Group. The role provides hands-on experience supporting pitches, live deals, financings, and M&A transactions, alongside senior bankers. Analysts perform valuation, financial modelling, research, and transaction analysis while developing through training, mentoring, networking events, and formal performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow, and multiples-based analyses.
• Build and use financial models.
• Prepare pitchbooks and live deal materials, including offering memorandums and prospectuses.
• Conduct industry and product research.
• Analyze detailed corporate and financial information.
• Participate in financings and M&A transaction execution.

Program Experience

• Work closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals within lean deal teams.
• Complete orientation and training before beginning day-to-day responsibilities.
• Receive support from colleagues serving as instructors and mentors.
• Attend social and educational events supporting professional development and networking.
• Receive formal performance reviews during the program.

• Join the New York Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging Group.
• Support clients across residential, office, industrial, retail, storage, casino, leisure, and lodging sectors.
• The group includes approximately 24 bankers serving clients across North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
