About the role

The Dallas Secondary Advisory Summer Analyst internship offers hands-on experience supporting private equity secondary transactions and marketing processes. Analysts perform valuation, modeling, research, and deal execution work while collaborating with senior professionals and receiving orientation, mentorship, educational programming, and formal performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow, and multiples-based analyses.
• Build and use financial models for transaction-related analysis.
• Prepare pitchbooks, offering memorandums, prospectuses, and other live deal materials.
• Conduct industry, product, corporate, and financial research.
• Participate in financings, M&A transactions, and private equity secondary transaction execution.
• Assist senior professionals with all aspects of the secondary transaction marketing process.

Team and Program

• Join Jefferies’ Secondary Advisory team within the broader Private Capital Advisory group in Dallas.
• Support transactions involving private equity fund interests and other illiquid alternative assets.
• Work with senior professionals advising fund sponsors and institutional or private investors.
• Complete orientation and training, with ongoing instruction and mentorship from colleagues.
• Attend social and educational events and receive formal performance reviews.
