About the role
Join Jefferies as a 2027 Investment Banking Analyst in Chicago's Industrials Group. Work closely with senior bankers on M&A and financing deals, performing financial analysis and market research in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform financial valuation including discounted cash flow and multiples analyses.
- Build and utilize financial models for deal assessment.
- Prepare pitch books and live deal materials like offering memorandums.
- Conduct industry and product research to identify trends.
- Analyze detailed corporate and financial information.
- Participate in execution of financings and M&A transactions.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong academic background with a four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professionalism and client management skills required.
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptable, independent, and team-oriented work style.
