Jefferies offers a 3-month off-cycle internship in Investment Banking at Zurich, starting January/February 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience in M&A, financial modeling, and deal execution within a global, entrepreneurial environment.
About the Role
- 3-month internship in Investment Banking division based in Zurich.
- Start date: January/February 2027.
- Work closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals.
- Gain exposure to M&A, equity capital markets, and equity-linked transactions.
- Perform financial valuation, modeling, and prepare pitchbooks.
- Conduct industry and product research and analyze corporate data.
Responsibilities
- Perform discounted cash flow and multiples-based financial analyses.
- Build and use financial models for valuation and forecasting.
- Prepare management presentations and information memoranda.
- Support execution of M&A and capital market transactions.
- Conduct detailed industry and market research.
- Contribute creatively and collaboratively to team projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong academic credentials and professional drive.
- Ability to work in a global team with a self-starting approach.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Previous investment banking or corporate finance experience advantageous.
- Fluency in Swiss German preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
