2027 Investment Banking Off Cycle Internship Programme Paris – Consumer Team (July start)

About the role

Six-month investment banking internship in Jefferies’ Paris Consumer team, starting July 2027. Interns support senior bankers on pitches and live transactions across M&A, equity and debt, while conducting valuation, modelling, research and deal-material preparation. The role requires fluent French and English, strong communication, professionalism, adaptability and the ability to manage pressure and deadlines.

Team and role

• Join Jefferies’ EMEA Consumer & Retail group, focusing on the Paris team’s Beauty & Personal Care expertise.
• Work closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals within a lean, client-focused deal team.
• Gain hands-on experience across investment banking products and industry coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analysis.
• Build and operate financial models for client and transaction work.
• Prepare pitchbooks, offering memorandums, prospectuses and other live deal materials.
• Conduct industry and product research, analysing detailed corporate and financial information.
• Participate in executing M&A, equity and debt transactions.
• Contribute ideas and add value while working on active deal teams.

Candidate profile

• Fluency in both French and English is required for the Paris office.
• Demonstrate professionalism, client management ability and strong technical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Work effectively under pressure, meet demanding deadlines and remain flexible.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
