About the role

Fixed Income Off-Cycle Internship in Jefferies’ Dubai office, starting January or February 2027. Interns will support market commentary, research, trade ideas, and information flow across Sales, Trading, and EMTN teams, while developing tools and contributing analysis in a global, client-focused investment banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce market commentary, research, and trade ideas.
• Work with Sales, Trading, and EMTN teams to improve information flow and pitches.
• Develop innovative tools using VBA, Python, or other coding languages.
• Conduct research, analysis, and recommendations while contributing ideas to the team.

Requirements

• Demonstrate quantitative skills, accuracy, flexibility, reliability, dedication, and enthusiasm.
• Work effectively in a global team with a self-starting approach to problem-solving.
• Have excellent academic credentials and professional drive.
• Work under pressure while maintaining a strong commitment to excellence.
• Show proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, plus VBA, Python, or another coding language.
• Balance attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.

Additional Advantages

• Previous finance experience is advantageous.
• Fluency in Arabic is advantageous.
