About the role
A 10-week Hong Kong Equity Research Summer Analyst internship supporting senior analysts with financial modeling, market research, due diligence, and research writing. The program includes orientation, training, mentoring, formal performance reviews, and opportunities to develop investment insights across global industries.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and analyze financial models assessing company fundamentals and industry dynamics.
- Gather data and conduct market research, including using AI tools to develop timely insights.
- Assist with research reports, presentations, and thematic analyses using AI-enabled workflows.
- Monitor company news, earnings results, and sector developments to support actionable research.
- Support due diligence and research activities under a Senior Equity Research Analyst.
- Manage multiple projects while contributing creatively and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
Program Details

Requirements
- Be a penultimate-year university student with an anticipated graduation date between October 2027 and July 2028.
- Achieve a minimum GPA of 3.6 or equivalent.
- Demonstrate professionalism, client management skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Manage multiple projects, work under pressure, adapt, and operate independently and within teams.
Preferred Background
- Written and spoken Mandarin skills are preferred for roles based in Hong Kong.
- Accounting or finance experience can be helpful but is not required.
- Applicants may come from disciplines including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
