About the role
Join Jane Street's Sales and Trading internship in Hong Kong to gain hands-on experience working with institutional clients across various asset classes. Learn from mentors and attend internal classes on finance and trading fundamentals in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced Sales and Sales-Traders covering institutional clients' trading needs.
- Collaborate on projects similar to real-world tasks at Jane Street.
- Learn how to service clients, issuers, and prospective clients.
- Attend internal classes on finance and trading fundamentals.
- Engage in a fast-paced, immersive internship experience.
Candidate Profile
- Planning to graduate in 2028 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Curious about financial markets and eager to learn.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, staying calm under pressure.
- Resilient, adaptable, and learns from setbacks.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong relationship-building skills.
- Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Languages
- Fluency in English required.
- Proficiency in Japanese, Korean, Malay, or Thai is a plus.
