About the role
Nine-week summer internship supporting Invesco’s Corporate Functions Data Office in Atlanta. Interns help improve data governance, quality, metadata, reporting, and processes across Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Risk. The program includes cross-functional projects, mentorship, development activities, and potential eligibility for a full-time Early Career Program offer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventories of critical data elements, owners, stewards, and key business processes.
- Analyze datasets for completeness, consistency, and accuracy issues; document definitions, rules, lineage, and usage.
- Track data quality issues, actions, owners, and status updates across Corporate Functions.
- Create dashboards, trackers, reports, presentations, and executive-ready summaries communicating governance progress and insights.
- Map processes, identify improvement opportunities, research leading practices, and support cross-functional projects and deliverables.
Program and Development
- Participate in orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities alongside the intern cohort.
- Receive dedicated mentorship and opportunities to connect with finance leaders throughout the summer.
- Work on cross-functional initiatives involving data governance, quality, reporting, process improvement, master data, controls, and transformation.
- Strong performance may lead to eligibility for a full-time Early Career Program offer after graduation.
- The role is full time and follows a workplace model requiring at least four office days weekly as of October 1, 2025.
Location and Practical Information
- The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and requires working from an Invesco office where the program is available.
- Relocation and housing are not included if an offer is extended.
