About the role
The ETF Quantitative Developer supports Equity ETF & Indexed Strategies by developing portfolio management technology and analytics. This role requires strong technical skills and capital markets knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Research, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver investment analytics and portfolio reporting.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom tools for ETF and indexed portfolio management.
- Enhance portfolio oversight frameworks focusing on scalability and efficiency.
- Build and deploy quantitative models across portfolio management systems.
- Automate workflows, reporting, and optimization processes.
- Contribute to data architecture and technology infrastructure evolution.
Experience
- 0–3 years in quantitative analytics, development, or related roles.
- Exposure to asset management or financial services is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-volume environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R; C++ or Java is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis libraries like Pandas or Polars.
- Familiarity with data engineering, databases (Snowflake), ETL pipelines, and workflow orchestration (Airflow).
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS), containerization (Docker), and version control (Git).
- Knowledge of portfolio management platforms (Bloomberg, Charles River) and front-end frameworks (Flask, Dash) is advantageous.

Work Environment
- Full-time position based in Downers Grove, Illinois.
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment within the North American Equities platform.
- Hybrid work schedule with at least four days per week in office starting October 1, 2025.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range $110,000–$138,500 per year, including incentive pay.
