About the role
Join Invesco's 9-week Fundamental Equities COO Office Summer Internship in New York, starting June 2027. Gain hands-on experience in operations, technology, strategy, and people management within a global investment firm. Eligible for full-time offers post-internship.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support operations and governance by identifying solutions and assisting in meetings.
- Work hands-on with technology and AI tools like Copilot and agentic tooling.
- Assist in strategy and planning through research, benchmarking, and analysis.
- Support people and talent workstreams on the platform.
- Help assemble management information, scorecards, and board materials.

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled bachelor’s student, rising Junior, graduating by summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Open to all majors; emphasis on finance, accounting, math, economics, CS, engineering, data analytics, or business.
- Demonstrated interest in investments.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. permanently; no visa sponsorship provided.
- Must work in New York office; relocation and housing not included.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in creative problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Prior internship in investment management preferred but not required.
- Experience with market data gathering and interpretation.
- Familiarity with AI tools and intermediate skills in Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg, R Studio, or Excel.
Workplace Model and Compensation
- Full-time, fixed-term internship position.
- Expected to work at least four days per week in the New York office starting October 1, 2025.
- Compensation is $40 per hour.
